Alle producten in de ‘Be Square’ lijn hebben iets rechthoekigs of vierkants in hun vormentaal (Square). Ook hebben ze allemaal iets normaals, iets vanzelfsprekends, bijna iets saais (Being Square).
Juist daardoor sluiten ze goed aan op het alledaagse leven.
Alle producten in deze serie worden van massieve houtsoorten gemaakt.
All products in the ‘Be Square’ series have got something rectangular or square in their form language (Square). They also have got something normal, something obvious, almost something boring over them (Being Square). And that’s exactly why they pass the everyday test. All products are made from solid wood.
‘Meubels moeten hinderen’is een samenwerkingsproject tussen cartoonist Gummbah, en ontwerpers Jeroen Wesselink en Peter Verschuuren.
Zij zagen de kans om de op de achtergrond aanwezige meubels in de strips van Gummbah te vertalen naar het drie-dimensionale en ze daarmee tot leven te wekken. Deze absurdistische meubellijn bestaat uit een vaas, een schemerlamp en een nachtkastje in een gelimiteerde oplage van 50 stuks per object.

Bottles is gebasseerd op het gebruiken van oude wijnflessen als een materiaal, en daar een nieuwe vorm mee te maken en er een nieuwe functie aan te geven. Op die manier krijgt de fles een tweede leven op die zelfde tafel, als kandelaar.
Bottles is based on using the old wine bottle as a material, creating a new shape and function with it. By doing so the bottle gets a second life on that same table as a candle holder.
Wooden Shade is gebasseerd op de licht doorlatende kwaliteiten van essen fineer. Door het op zich zelf te gebruiken in plaats van het op een ondergrond te verlijmen komt de nerf van het hout helemaal tot leven als de lamp aan gaat, en geeft het een mooie, warme kleur licht.
Wooden Shade is based on the illuminating qualities of ash veneer. By using the material in itself instead of glued onto another material the grain of the wood really comes to live when the light is switched on, and gives a beautiful warm light.

Gestaltung heeft in opdracht van Montis mee geholpen aan
het ontwerp van hun presentatie tijdens de Salone del
Mobile in Milaan 2011. Joch Elderkamp en Peter
Verschuuren hebben het ontwerp en de realistie van de
afbeeldingen op zich genomen. Dit spel tussen 2D en 3D
zorgt voor een interessant totaalbeeld van een
woonomgeving.
Gestaltung has joined in to design the presentation of
Montis at the Salone del Mobile in Milan 2011. Joch
Elderkamp and Peter Verschuuren designed and
realized the images on the walls. This mix of 2D and
3D gives an interesting image of a living environment.
Gestaltung heeft in opdracht van Pure Creatives het nieuwe interieur voor deze opname- en geluidsstudio gerealiseerd. De ontwerpers bij dit project zijn Joch Elderkamp en Peter Verschuuren.
De ruimte bestaat uit drie delen; de opnamestudio, het kantoor en een leefkeuken.
Gestaltung has realized the interior of the sound- and recording studio of Pure Creatives. The designers involved in this project are Joch Elderkamp and Peter Verschuuren.
The space consist of the recording studio, an office and a living kitchen.

van Theatergroep Playback het decor voor de voorstelling
‘Loveland’ ontworpen. Loveland is een educatieve
voorstelling over sexualiteit die zich afspeelt op een
camping.
Kamiel Vorwerk and Peter Verschuuren have designed
the scene for the play ‘Loveland’ commissioned by
theatergroup Playback. Loveland is an educative play
about sexuality which takes place on a campsite.
